Kenneth Johnson is a graduate of Union County College with a degree in Criminal Justice, he is continuing his education at Kean University in the pursuit of his Bachelor’s Degree. Kenneth in 2019 received his Armed SORA license and has been working for Brinks Security. He is also currently on a very short list of prospective candidates awaiting to join the New Jersey State Police Academy training.

Beulah Mae Murchinson is a graduate of the class of 2015. She is currently taking up evangelism at Liberty University with the hopes of going to law school after the completion of her bachelor's. She enjoys working as a teacher at a daycare in Livingston, NJ. She enjoys telling people about her relationship with Christ, writing, reading, and spending time with her loved ones in her free time.

Graduate of 2007 currently  pursuing my teaching certification. Essex Valley School provided me with a nurturing environment where I felt safe and comfortable  to explore opportunities and reach my full potential .The staff goes above and beyond for students and gives them a chance to be successful. EVS gave me encouragement and support  and geared me towards a path of success. I will forever be grateful for EVS and would like to say “Thank You” for believing in me and giving me a chance.  

Today, I currently work at Essex Valley School. I have worked here for the past 8 years as a licensed cosmetologist in the cosmetology classroom. Even after graduating so many years ago EVS is still providing me with opportunities to grow. I am very appreciative for the continuous support and guidance received through EVS. EVS has made a positive impact on my life and has enabled me to make that same impact on the lives of my students. I am honored that EVS allowed me to make a difference. Attending Essex Valley School was a life changing event. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. I can’t thank Essex Valley School enough.

My time at EVS as a student was a great experience. It has help me to become the man I am today. They help me by listening and helping me mentally. They showed me the difference between right and wrong, so I could come back to work at the school and help the kids. I am using what I have learned to mentor and help guide the students in the right path.
